Normally I wouldn't give a damn about that holiday, but it finally happened. After two years of sex. Yes, sex...because we were trying to make babies, of course. We became pregnant. Fast forward some months later, two little girls were released from the puffy gut of Wife-Bot!
On June 1st, 2008 we welcomed Scarlett Lee and Stella Marie into Los Angeles. Eight days later, our home is now a sterile environment. There will now be nary a shoe to walk across our floors to leave a dusty lane, no more will the sweet scent of certain things fill the evening air. No.
This has been replaced with the soft smells of baby powder, baby wipes, baby lotion, and poopie. To be perfectly honest, I couldn't be happier about it. Well, I do wish I could let loose on a bottle of Gin.
