Detroit Cobras learned all of this... man!

Click here to imitate Yakov Smirnoff forever.

Sure, everyone knows how rad the Detroit Cobras are, but do you know how great the original tunes were? Probably not and now you will.

I would include a track list here, but this evening I am far too preoccupied to get into all that. However, my digital kinfolk, Dgrador had this a while back and he has the songs listed there. He's a good dude.

Hey, do you know who Yakov Smirnoff even is?

Nancy Sinatra You go-go girl

By default, These boots are made for walkin' is included as the last track on this album. I'm not complaining, but why does it have to be on like, every album released under her name? Man...

This record is great though.

Best used when at a bar entertaining a group of females who enjoy kissing you.

Why? I tell ya... Because it's fun.
Who are you going home with?

PS. If you're a good hugger you will always be needed.

Everyone wants to be Luv'd!

Click here for a slightly used breast pump

The Luv'd Ones were a gang of ladies. One of them was America's first, functioning cyborg. The limits to their power are unknown, but the government felt it best to destroy all of the research and classify anything that might have shown what they were up to.

At first, everything was going well...it wasn't until the lead guitarist short circuited and destroyed the bicycle path that stretched between The Sonics' recording studio and Mary Weiss' childhood home. You can imagine the chaos considering this particular bike lane was over 3000 miles long.

The only thing that the shadowy government was unable to erase were a handful of recordings that somehow managed to get into the hands of the Sundazed label. Thank god for that!

Where are you Aislers Set?

http://sharebee.com/4e111a43

Click here for that dog foot smell.

Hello friends. Tonight, in honor of the ever so talented Amy Linton, I present to you a rare little gem. Here' we have a one off split 7 inch from the main Aisler and her pal, her bud, Stuart Anderson of Boyracer.

What I really want to know is : What the hell are those Aislers doing right now? Their myspace isn't really a pool of information. Are they ever going to release another record? If anyone knows I'd be pumped if you could tell me.

Is your sister this cool?

Click here to meet the feebles.

Is it sacrilegious to dress up as a nun and make some throwback beat garage? If it is then, hell...what can I say? At least this isn't the sound track to "The church of fudge" (Google it)
For now however, throw your hands to the sky for Thee Headcoatees and their last record, The Sisters of Suave.

The ShangriLas

Between 1964-66, this quartet, not trio as many would believe, were pretty much household names. These little girls from Queens, NY were at the forefront of the burgeoning female Rock and Roll scene. Of course, like all good things, it pretty much came to a crashing end by 1966 due to this fickle world and its short attention span.

The girls failed to do well commercially for the Red Bird label and were subsequently dropped. They then made the jump to Mercury records and were largely ignored by the label bosses. Without any hits the group broke up shortly after. It isn't surprising that the girls were broke, even if they did have a short string of hits under their collective belts. The group was tied up with litigation over their royalty checks among other things.

The Essential Skeeter Davis!

Click the above link and relax.

Most folks are only aware of this Country crooner because of the movie "Girl, Interupted" because it's her song playing in the background when Ms. Chicken Kitchen is found hanging from the ceiling.

Fans of Glasgow act Camera Obscura will be delighted to hear track#12.
